Opportunities to Get Involved

Here are Three Ways You Can Help the Down Syndrome Community This Month!

1. Buy Coffee, Support Individuals with Down syndrome

We’re pleased to announce we're partnering with Bitty & Beau’s Coffee for an exciting fundraising effort!

Until April 15, 2025: All online orders will be shipped directly to the purchaser, making it convenient for anyone to contribute to DSAmd via your shopping!

To order coffee, hot chocolate, and more, supporters can visit our group-specific link:

2. Support an event

We could use help at these classes and events - email us to let us know if you're free and available to help: info@DSAmd.org

Saturdays at 10am, Boxing Class in Millersville/Odenton: you'd take direction from the coaches and help to keep participants moving and engaged

- Friday, May 2nd, 4:30PM - 7:45PM Teen/Adult Dance in Columbia: you'd help to keep dancers engaged, help with set up and clean up.

- Wednesdays at 5:30PM - 6:30PM Jiu Jitsu in Essex: you'd take direction from the coaches and help to keep participants moving and engaged

- May 4th at 2PM Trimper Rides meetup in Ocean City: you'd take direction from self-advocates and families and help to make the event even safer and fun

- May 16th 5PM - 8PM Karaoke in Easton: you'd take direction from self-advocates and families and help to make the event even safer and fun

3. Seek Gift Card Donations

Help us secure gift card donations from your local Dunkin, grocery store, and more!

We use gift cards to:

- Pay for snacks for DSAmd community-building meetups

- Give to individuals with Down syndrome as prizes for participating in research surveys, giving their opinions about DSAmd programs, and for winning at games - like bingo!

- Support families with new babies who have Down syndrome

Find a general letter to request a donation here!
